Blood Donor Program
What does the Blood Donor Program Do?
The American Legion Blood Donor Program, officially established in 1942, is dedicated to supporting this noble cause of donating blood. In every passing year, and particularly since the events of 9/11, Legionnaires have generously contributed to blood donations, with departments coordinating these efforts at the post level. The Blood Donor Program commends those departments that exhibit exceptional commitment to blood donation initiatives.
