What does the Junior Shooting Sports Committe Do?
he American Legion Junior Shooting Sports Program offers a comprehensive firearm safety education and marksmanship initiative that includes key components such as safety, education, fun, and competition. Participants in this program utilize a .177 caliber air rifle. It is open to individuals of all genders through sponsorship by the American Legion, with a special invitation extended to disabled youth, as competitive shooting provides an equitable platform for all competitors.
